Good luck with the training and run Franky. I will also sponsor you via the link.
My brother is a top runner and did the London marathon in 2hours 30 minutes {no poo}, finished 40th overall !
That was a few years ago and he now does mainly 5 and 10k races. On race day, allow more time to get there and warm up etc as it is a mad scene.

Best half marathon time - Bristol Half 1 hour 35 mins
Best Full marathon time - Snowdonia 4 hours 10 mins in the worst conditions for 10 years

That was 3 years ago - would struggle to do that now!

Good luck Frank  :D

Hi Frank, Not doing the Bath half as full up, I may do the tough ten (miles) in Weston-super-mud next month - that's a good one (it is tough!)  :'(

i ran it in 2005 . everything about the marathon is a truly great experience ,picking up your number in london the week before etc . you can cut the atmosphere at the start of the race with a knife !  all the best

The Bristol half marathon is all run on flat vince so no hills to encourage fast times and personal bests, It takes place around the centre of Bristol and goes under the clifton suspension bridge.  ;)
