Pre-arranged/Paid Parking-London
« on: January 09, 2011, 11:58:00 pm »

Getting increasing peed off with having to use porty when working in London. Also finding a parking space is sometimes a nightmare. I know some contractors get bays suspended out side the property pre arranged/paid for about £16 a day. Anyone do this in the London area.

Mark.

Mark,
We get either single yellow line dispensation or get a bay suspended.
Easy enough to do, just depends which council it comes under, Ken-Chelsea, Westminster etc, just go to the councils web-site and check what they charge and how much notice they need. If you are going to be running hoses across the pavement you will most probably need have to speak to a different department for permission as some pavements come under TLF and not the local council.

RBKC price sounds about right, prices are on their web-site and for Westminster you can do the application on-line.
