Ive just canvassed 44 new customers last week at £6 per fortnight.

There seems to be a general trend towards cleaning on a monthly cycle. How come you stick to the fortnighly cycle?

Where abouts in st helens was this estate danny? Just that iv got my eye on 1 but really cant be bothered door knocking. Hope you havent beat me to the area i was thinking  :'(  ;D

Danny

Alright Dan

The estate is on the way out of st helens going into prescot. Im canvassing another tomorrow near the st helens centre then ive got a list of leads for other estates for my canvasser to do when i manage to find the right one.

When are you in fingerpost next? Ive got two estates near you to clean next week....

Its easier to build a round faster then when im full of customers i will switch them to monthly and carry on expanding.

How do you get only fortnightly? Do you just offer that option?

What are the legal implications of hiring canvassers?

I imagine this has been discussed before! Sorry.

Joe

Its normal for fortnightly rounds around here. I think its a northern thing.

For legal implications ask your accountant she deals with all my stuff.

My shortlist of canvassers are all high achievers and have great records for sales. I have to say i will be hiring the best and paying them well and hopefully i will smash the targets im aiming for. Ive already got maps and a canvassing strategy for a number of local estates and a few commercial leads to follow up. Theres also a very generous bonus system for exceptional sales.

Good luck

Yeah, I am. I've been reading up a lot on it actually.
Give me an email if you wanna chat about it. I have a few ideas  8)

One thing is for sure, there's no shortage of potential employee's!

I would be interested in hiring  a canvasser but its like looking for a needle in a haystack in my area (Hereford/Worcester) im sure someone would make a fortune if they set up a canvassing company nationwide!!

Why is it hard? Put an ad in the paper, go through C.V.'s that are e-mailed you and find someone suitable.

i canvassed that estate not long after they where built but they had already gone, i wont bother if its a new build and the first phases have gone, not worth the hassle, do you have houses on there Kleenaway or are you off to canvass it?

I canvass myself while my full timer does the work..........I took approx £400 extra a month Tues - Fri last week and that's canvassing areas I'm already working. I tried building my own canvassing team but had no interest so took it on myself. I would employ a canvasser once my round was at a certain point though but would expect more than £250 a month as I'd be confident of canvassing £100 per day give or take on my own.

Taylor, whats the best spiel you use to get that kinda level of success, coz £100 is serious going. Do you canvass evenings for better hit rates??
