Likewise Andy.  I'm well over £1k down on this month and I could do with making some of that up.  In fact, I will be doing a commercial (non residential) job on Jan 1st too.  It's only a couple of hours at most and I can do it any time of day.  It does hinge on temperatures and the ability to get there of course.
Having said (written !!) that, amazing that it may seem, my quarterly figures are actually up on last years.  My accounting year starts on October 1st and on 22/12, I reached the quarterly turnover figure that I had achieved by 31/12 last year.  So I got to that figure about 5 working days earlier this year.  I think that's remarkable considering how difficult the conditions have been since late November.  So it's not all bad.

@ peter fogwill...

Great stuff mate, you must be very proud of your son!

Yes but unfortunately he gave up.  The next grading for his second dan was when he was 16 so he had a three year wait, he thought it was too long a wait.

My lad has that problem. He does Budo Kempo Jujitsu and has since he was 4. He is a green belt now 8 and can't get another until he is 15.

Well, like Paul I view Weds to Fri as non-bank holidays but have (due to preparation and "getting on with it) just exceeded last years December total - so after five days off - not working today through choice - I might do Weds and Thursday as light days from say 10 am til 3pm on domestic.
It's a game of three halves!

Weather permitting I always plan to work between Christmas and new year. This year will be the same. If window cleaning is not viable then I have a customer who needs a helping hand in doing some jobs around the properties she owns, and she will be working on them over the holiday period, so at least there is some work I can do.  :)

no, I would not clean but if some are getting well overdue i would leave them note to explain why ure late and that normal service will resume when weather allows
