What they cost Ian?

Ive just googled them and they are between £92 and £140. They do look good and would guess they will last a lifetime.
I will look out for them in the shops so I can try them on for size.

i have a pair of hunter wellies, so i might give them a go tomorrow, have been wearing mu cat boots, but they still let in the water and my trousers get soaked, so hopfuly the wellies will keep me drier, might need a couple of pairs of socks to keep me tootsies warm.

Got them for £97.50 delivering included, never had them off my feet for days.  I even bought my dearly beloved a pair, I was going to save them as a  christmas present, but was told point blank that "You're not giving me wellies as a christmas present!!!"

She seems to thing they are "essentials" and not luxuries, I agree, wellies are essentials, however AIGLES are luxuries!!

Still don't think I'll win the argument, but they're going under the tree anyway if only to bulk up her pile!!!

i wore me hunters today, no wet feet no wet legs, great, toes got a little cold by the end of the day but i think i will carry on wearing them until the snow clears

I always wear Derry type boots (similar to wellies but shorter, more supple and fur type lined). You can walk and drive in them.  Wear them under trousers.
 
I wear them from Nov to March ish.
 
Don't need thick socks, just normal.  Brilliant. Cost about £30

Recently bought a pair of AIGLE PARCOURS ISO NEOPRENE wellies, they are the business, went out for a 6 mile walk with the dog in the snow yesterday, tootsies stayed warm as toast all the way round  

I've tried Le Chameau and Hunter wellies but they're not a patch on Aigles.
