Rug question
« on: December 09, 2010, 08:52:09 pm »
I have today collected a couple of rugs to clean that are a type i have not encountered before they are 100%wool woven with the pattern showing through on the reverse side no hessian backing  etc.
My concern is that they are very thin and not the thick Oriental type i usually come across are these liable to buckle, sorry if this is a stupud question but thought i should cross my T's and dot my I's before i clean them in the morning.

Treat normally Jim and you'll be fine. They may curl a bit at the corners if your saturating but will drop back mate.

James,

no buckling with those rugs.

You can surface clean or immersion, depending on soil load.
