Its not hard to guess what the question is implying and obviously he doesn't mean on days when you have down time for whatever reason!! I turn over money in fare words for my 14-18 houses, I'm not interested in wht  you earn matt you usually find the ones who bragg are the ones that don't earn what they say!! And its the pesimists like yourself that give this forum a bad name my friend!!!

These last three answers the most helpful, despite the other factious ones, written by people who have no interest in helping those starting out.

I'm not starting out, but thought the question might be helpful to those that are, not the muppets who get all penile erect at trying to derail things.  Good for you, lads, well done.  The rest of us can see right through you old timers.

As has been said, it's not as if I was asking how many houses you clean when you are ill, or on Xmas day, or when the sun shines, or how much you earn when you do (yawn).

I'm glad I'm not starting out, as this might be the last place I'd come for help.  lol!

Anyway, girls, you'd better get back to your knitting.  ;D

That's not fair coming from such an intelligent and obviously well balanced and settled individual as yourself.

i book in 20 a day,  and if finish early move on to the following days work,  if you book 20 a day over week it is 100 over the month is 400,  which is a pretty good round

when i have a mate in i can easily do 30 - 33 a day depending on what the houses are, i have a lot of compact work which helps

I'm afraid you're putting your head in the lion's mouth asking a question like that on here.

Anything that requires a sensible answer will get a load of facetious replies from people who deliberately misunderstand what you're asking so they can lead you up the garden path to prove the size of their gonads.  Makes them look clever (in their opinion), gives you no useful information.

I think the gist of your question is pretty clear so I'll give you an answer, but look out for (the same) people weighing in with comments that state that I'm new to the game so I can't possibly know anything.  Thus, you must ignore what I tell you as someone new to the game can't possibly know how many houses he can do in a day.

I reckon on 15 or so average semis (some small, some big) on a normal day in town when work is reasonably compact.  My round is still building so sometimes it's not compact and I'll only manage ten.  That's a full day and is getting a bit tight now with the evenings drawing in changing my normal stopping time of 5pm.

Other days (much less frequent) I do bigger places out of town; I may only do three or four, but I'm earning the same sort of money as on a day in town.

Hope this helps.  Apologies if it does, as the this forum seems to be here for the purposes of point scoring rather than any exchange of facts.  If I've inadvertently given you useful information, please forgive me...

Quantity has nothing to do with a good round

How do you know Ewan, you aren't even a window cleaner?

Very Slow for the types of properties you mention, you need to look for ways to speed

Mix of six-weekly and twelve weekly most days, so around £20 average.  I also do a cracking job, as I know it's cheaper to keep a customer than to find one.

What time do I start?  How long do I take for lunch?  How many of them are little estate type semis and how many are full-blooded bay window properties?  Is this a mix of maintenance and first cleans?

I'll take specious, ill-thought-out nonsense like this seriously, Ewan, the day hell freezes over.

on my run of the mill 3 bedders(very compact)i aim for 20-25 a day and reach that target most days working 9am-4pm with half hour for lunch.

some days i clean 8-10 big houses and make more than the 20 odd compact semis.

too many variables inclu talking to custies, weather and motivation.

the compact run of the mill work i have i take trolley out in the morning and put it back in the van at at the end of the day.this i do on nearly 2 weeks of work.no driving in between jobs, easy to collect and no fuel expenses.

the rest of my round is a mixture of clumps of work that take a day or  half a day to clean and bigger stand alone accounts and a few commercial.

You’re full of yourself, how long have you been window cleaning vin

Read my post again

1. See, I told you someone would be along to say that I'm too new into the game to comment.  Typical that it should be Ewan.

2. I choose not to read your tripe  again, Ewan.  Once really is enough.
