i've got one and though i have'nt used it a lot compared to the extracta i have previously owned.  it is a great machine and does what it claims however in my opinion it is big and heavy. it is a very practical and well made machine but if you are intending to use it on say a terraced house you would have to leave it outside as it would definately fill the passageway an make it difficult to pass. leaving it outside on a dry day is no problem but i do'nt like the idea of having it outside in the rain (very impractical imo). james roffey says he can load his easily on to the back of his van but i struggle with mine (transit) as the back is higher and i worry about damaging the waste outlet however i have overcome this by obtaining a ramp which is much easier. the airflex looks the biz whereas the scorpion which according to others is as good if not better than the airflex is an ugly looking thing and though i was initially going to buy it a scorpion owner advised me that the tanks on it being clear plastic get to look very scruffy and could give the wrong impression to a customer this obviously is not an issue with scorpion owners who have all stated how good the machine is. i have never seen a scorpion owner post anything bad about the machine on hear or cleantalk.

Creighton is right i am a 10 stone weakling and i have no trouble getting it in my Dispatch just tilt the front wheels in and lift the back, having said that i would not take it up stairs it is heavier than the Ninja i had before, but i have never encountered a job i have not been able to get to i just run a long hose i had a job yesterday and used 100ft of hose without any noticeable loss in vacuum strength
my machine either stays outside or in the van, i think the debate over this machine and the Scorpion will go on for ever both owners thinking the machine they have is best, i think power wise there is nothing in it but all things being equal the Airflex looks the part too, wheras the scorpion is a tried and tested machine, the Airflex is newer but no known faults in design etc have appeared so all in all it is in my opinion a well thought out machine.
Customer service is also excellent at both these suppliers, i learnt the hard and expensive way with my old Ninja and now enjoy good customer service at Cleansmart although i still do business with Solutions UK as well, whatever machine you opt for if you go for the Airflex get 2inch hose and not 1.5

I have had my Airflex turbo for nearly 12 months now.No problems with it at all,I have used it both in the van and out.Its never once been inside a house always stays outside.
I prefer using it out of the van and have no problem unloading and loading,it was one of the many things Matt showed me when I spent the day with him when I first looked at the Airflex before buying.
Like James I use 2" hose,100ft if needed with about 5ft of 1 1/2" hose for small bedrooms,tight spaces.

I can only agree with above, over 12 months now and happy as a sand boy I also agree dependent on what you own you tend to back your choice but the reality is they are all very similar internally and some are prettier than others. I'm delighted with the Airflex, 2 bolts gets you inside and the vac/s flip out on a panel with loads of room inside making weekly check over a five minute job, consistent pump pressure and excellent recovery. The only thing I did not like was the original recovery tank lid, compared with the rest of the machine it looked rushed despite performing perfectly well. The lid has now been re-developed and is nice piece of work and offered as free update, for which I would of happily paid. Great machine, great service.

I'm also delighted with the turbo and wouldn't use any other machine.

Had mine just over 12 months...been through a couple of vac motors, mostly my fault and just replaced the pump seals which is reasonably good going as it runs most days of the week.

As above, the waste tank lid has been replaced foc to the updated version by Cleansmart.

It is big and heavy but easily manovered and is out weighed by the extra water capacity on bigger jobs.

My only niggle is the silencer hose started dropping off due to the tube which pushes into the side of machine started shrinking....soon sorted out by drilling a hole and dropping a nail in to secure it!

Also the customers, new and old comment ''thats a nice peice of kit''.

So now you can get ur hand in ur pocket with confidence
