Self cleaning glass is easier to clean, definitely. I`ve got a conny roof made with it and it`s easier to clean than normal glass. awcs is right, some may just need rinsing.
It`s name doesn`t mean it cleans itself or it will never need cleaning  ::).
Think porcupine washer sleeve or sealskinz gloves; it`s a name.

there's no such thing as self cleaning glass. when a bird craps on it on hot summers day
or it gets splattered with an egg how does it clean itself  ::) perhaps the window company
supply you with a window cleaner you can keep in shed.
how do they get away with it. low maintenance maybe. on one of our jobs the builder said
"best get rid of your window cleaner couse there smashing your sills with them poles"
it's what most like to do slag of others and talk out of there arse makes them sound like
they know what there talking about  ::)
