Well, I'm just inside the house after doing my own gutters, which haven't been done in thje 14 years I've lived here.

Ran off my generator with the 25M extension I've made up.

It seems to be a mix of easy and hard.  Much harder work than my SLX; my shoulders will be aching again tomorrow.  At the same time, it took very little time to clear the whole house.  Even with my wife hanging out of the windows and getting me to pose for photos for my leaflet and website shots I reckon I was out there for about an hour and a half.  Actual gutter cleaning time with the vacuum on was about 20 minutes.  Twiddling with hoses and working out where to put poles while I adjusted them probably doubled that.  As mine's a three bed semi with no gable (i.e. three long lengths of gutter) that seems quite reasonable to me.  Also did the gutters on our extension (which I could look down into) and they look pretty damned clean for a first attempt.

Now I just need to work out how much to charge...

Sadly, the wife was taking "during" pics - action shots with me from behind, over my shoulder, out of the window upstairs, me naked, etc.  So no "before and after".  Here are some "during"

Don't know - this is my first use of it.

I suspect that you need to use it within a few days of rain so the stuff is softer.

Each 12 foot section (two bits of tube) weighs just under 2Kg, so you know you're lifting it.

You can use anything you like as a tube, I suspect.

Once I'm using it at customers' sites, it's going to be in the van permanently with extension leads to the work.

Though judging by your reply on there, you're not really interested in my choice or reasoning, so here's a simple answer...

My 110v arrived the other day as well - just awaiting cables and connectors to try it out.  I'll post more as I get to have a play.

Vin

what ye getting ?

Mine's the 110v one from Tech clean.  It's a little smaller and a tad more expensive, but less likely to kill me.

I'll review it once I have everything here.

I got the 110v Tech Clean vac. Did your come with a 32a 100v plug on it? mine didn't so I've had to put one on, also is your cable on your machine 2 core like mine?

Yep, I had to add the 32A plug and yes, it was two core.  On the thread I mention above - http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=112593.0 - there's a bit about my extension cable: I really don't fancy lugging the generator around.

Trying to source my extension cable yesterday and today looks like I might have to buy 100M of 4mm 32a cable and put some 32a plugs on them, I'm going to make them up into 25M lengths, will be speaking with a guy later who might be able to supply 50M.

Also need to get a 32a transformer now as I have just realised the one I had given to me was 16a

I'm gonna use my customers electricity until I get a generator, but will only use this for jobs where 240v supply cant be provided.

Glad to hear your first job on your house went quickly, gonna need to sail through these jobs to make the equipment pay for itself
