just go the bank with ur papers and they will give you a basic bank account that is no over draft, no check book, but u can pay dd and so out of, and you will get a cash card,  banks have to provide a basic bank account now, it is the law

cheers i set another account up today with co op , i had no problems with them and they were happy to let me use it for work reasons aswell. cheers for everyones help
