have a water tranfer pump, whating to put a outdoor switch so i can turn pump on / off.
 bought one from screwfix 1 gang 2 way switch
power supply is fed from a 240 volts plug sockets, is it possible to cut into wires and connect up switch to work this way
colour of wires for pump is
blue / brown / earth
connection inside outdoor switch are a  L AND 1 AND 2 next too 2 shows a sign like this /
what im trying to do is control pump via on / off switch, not via a socket in my shed were i have to turn pump off
