No matter that Dave Morris will tell you to the contrary. My 110 amp leisure battery went flat at the end of a big job the other day and that was with a pump controller and 30 amp intelligent split charge relay.

I have just found out in the last couple of days that I need a new alternator. Although it was just the pulley that's broke, I found it cheaper to get a whole new alternator. It's being fitted today so maybe that's contributed as they said the battery light was flickering at times. I 'll wait and see.
