I find what Lee is doing very interesting, and so do many others. For that reason i'd like to argue on his behalf that this post and others like it are breaking new ground. On this basis, that he is trying to pionneer something new, and is prepared to give marketing info to others, that he be given some slack.

Thought I should mention that there will be NO cost to the people i will include (at this stage)

the only cost to them will be if they decide to buy customers from me, no membership fees or things like that.

in the long term there will be such costs (they wont be very high)

A dragon might say if this is market research they are not exactly breaking your door down are they.Assuming you really can get sensibly priced solid jobs, maybe their aren't enough up to scratch windies.Or maybe any up to scratch windie doesn't need to buy in work.

very true, but we will see how many have emailed me tomorrow, im only looking for 10 or so at the moment. I know that I can get sensibly priced solid jobs because the method I use is allready proven in my own business and has been one of the keys to my success. when it comes to guys buying more work in what you say is true but this could help someone go from 1 van to 2 or 3 in a quicker time, and as someone with multiple vehicles myself i can say that when youve had a taste of that income and you dont have to clean windows anymore , you will just want more! trust me! on the other had this could help a one man band to refine their round so they can earn more with less effort.

things like wfp, gutter vac, and so on are becoming more and more popular year on year, window cleaners are now proper business people.

its all about supply and demand as in any business, I know one thing for sure and thats if I could buy enough customers in a short space of time to have a 2,3 or 4 vehicle business I would go and get a loan from the bank a credit card, re mortgage, what ever. If i saw 1000 well priced new customers for sale in my area, just waiting for a window cleaner I would find a way to buy them all, hell I almost wish someone else had come up with my idear so I could just sit there and buy customers and watch my business grow!!!!

Unless I am missing something this idea(no r in it) has been done a thousand times over, you advertise and then sell the work after quoting, how is that going to work on a national scale?

Good luck with it anyway, I will watch with interest
