james i am not offended i said i found the statement offensive and i was'nt having a pop at you , i know what you meant which is why i went on to say what i did about scouse and london accents, (that too could be seen as an offensive statement if taken in the wrong context) the majority of the inhabitants of these two wonderful cities are probably nice people (as are us welsh "boyo") but where i come from there would be an immediate mistrust of say a builder or other such service providers with these accents especially if cash is involved, oh and i forgot irish as well because we have loads of travellers here and they are really clever at scamming sign written vans phone numbers etc. we also have a large asian community and i do not know of many tradesmen willing to do business with them in fact in my experience they are only able to get the cowboys and hobblers to work for them.
