A little flyer tip...
« on: October 12, 2010, 04:13:56 pm »
seeing as most of us brits are followers.

We stapled a small card to our flyers:
Why not join many of your neighbours and sign up to one of our window cleaning programmes.

Current customers in your area: Number 2,6,12 ....

has worked well as the non customer would ask thses current customers about their window cleaner ....

so in a way makes some forced recommendations for us ...

has made our compact work even more compact and better.

yep but they don't see you on a four weekly basis or whatever....don't mean to poo poo the idea, I actually think it is very good.... just might be worth asking them on your next clean....just down to personal choice really  :)

I have a similar method - mine is a bundle of stickers that I preprint for the day's work. I attach them to the front of the leaflet and do as many as I feel I can manage, so sometimes it's five houses either side or sometimes it's a full estate.

Mine just say "today we cleaned numbers x and y.  If you want to see the quality of our work, take a look".

Seems to work.

Fliers and leaflets do not work anymore and only end up in the bin. Think of your carbon footprint too. How many trees needed to be cut down for all that paper. Just clean the windows and knock on the door, simple as that. If they are smashed, that means broke or skint in Dublin parlance, just tell them you'll get them in 6 weeks, theyr'e in your compliment. Its dog eat dog out there now. Leaflets - tsk tsk.
