You mentioned the girls did a good job topping you up, this no doubt would have included steering you onto the quite useless double trim brush and this is why the longer bristles stuck in the gutter brackets. Next time pick the mono filament.

I went through several brushes today, swopping from dual trim mono to dual trim flocked to scrub snails trails off. I found the flocked almost impossible to move sideways and very clingy vertically (maybe it's a second quality). I went back to the later extra splayed dual trim later in the day and still wonder why the bristles are not made denser.
Last job of the day I accidentally fitted an original no splay MK1 dual trim mono - my god that's one fast and accurate brush! It really zips across the glass.

top pole well impressed with mine! its earned its keep over the last month or so done fascias, con cleans and used it none stop every day with out a problem.
   i do look after it like no other pole i have had,gets rubbed down many times through out the day and washed out a few times per week. has shown no signs of any ware yet.

they did try to flog the dual trim, I had a look but wasn't convinced. I got the one with the bristles all the same length. They are longer than the vikan and must have snagged in the gutter bracket. I will have to learn not to go so hard around the brackets. (before I go bald)

I went for the dual trim on my CL-X 27 and I really like it.  I'm going to use my CL-X for all my jobs it's so light.
