Good point, did a car boot sale with my son a few weeks back and most of the people walking round were not customer material.

I tried something like this last year.
I wanted to do a boot sale anyway so took along my business cards and leaflets.
I put a prominent note next to it saying something about although I was happy to haggle with car boot stuff, the window cleaning is my main livelihood and I charge professional rates for it with no haggling (shorter than that but you get my drift).  Anyway it worked.  I got zero enquiries    .
I just wanted to avoid the hagglers.

if you really wanna pick up extra work then just get yourself a good digi camera and go and wait outside your local knocking shop and as the punters come out take a pick and threaten to tell their wives unless they take one of your leaflets and get you to come and quote 

works like a dream for me,  although it nearly went pair shaped when one night I took picks of 8 blokes coming out and thretened to tell their wives only to find it was a police raid
