Are you using water stops?

I know what you mean about the dripping when the system not being used so I put a 1/2" ball valve on the pipe that goes to the ports, and also use gardner stop connectors...

Yes Premium metal/plastic waterstop connectors from cleaningspot cost about £5.00each.Wondering if anyone uses abit of hose with connectors at both ends to make a loop push into both ports when not in use?

had the same problem myself - thinking of putting non return valves in before the connector so long as it doesnt effect the flow. available from plumbers merchants.
however when they drip after use i now turn the system backon thorugh the controller and then off again this seems to equalise the pressure and they stop dripping.
