I inherited 5litres of Wool X Microsplitter the one from cleansmart but have not used it yet, i looked at a job today a  wool berber and i thought as these are usually difficult to get fantastic result on i thought i would give this one a go with Wool X, as apposed to Nemesis/M Power or Prochem Prespray Gold which i have used before with mixed results.
What i noted on the container though was the words "agitate immediatley after application"
 i wondered that if this requires plenty of agitation to achieve the best results then this is going to be tricky, this carpet being a loop pile berber so i have no intention using my envirodri on it  so should i stick with chemicals used before.

Microsplitters need aggitation to get the best.

Your M-Power/Nemesis are not M/s and dont need the same amount of agitation.

Hva you not got the softer brushes on the Envirodri ie gold or gold/white

we use genna, (envirodri) on all carpets allthough like joe said, we change to gold and white for wool.

I do have the softer gold ones but surely they are not going to help as the loop pile on this carpet is really tight. 
Think i may stick with Nemesis

Hi James,I used some Wool X Microsplitter today on 2 wool carpets,got great results.

I like MS but I tend not to use them on wool loop constructions b/c of the agitation required, use PSG or similar.

Did the job today with Nemesis, a white tufted wool carpet astonishing result apart from walkway blasted with Powerburst extracted with f and f rinse carpet looked like new even i had to admit it looked amazing, the hall and stairs was a natural wool berber with some bad stains i treated the stains no joy, but faded them with extraction but the dreaded bleaching affect from previous attempts to remove jumped out, the customer had just moved in so i explained to her as i did not want her thinking it was me, i extracted with oxibrite thinking this may improve situation over the whole carpet hope this was ok :
I never noticed on the pre inspection but could not believe how they stood out after cleaning also had a problem getting the dirt out of the nose of then stair treads a real pain but customer delighted even got a £10 tip

i hardly ever vac carpets cos i use a truckmount and personally feel i don't need to, but i always vac the lip of the stairs when there wool. why? because the fibres are more open due to the curve and therefore release more dry soil, also there the hardest part to clean so vaccing realy helps.

it makes a big difference to the end result, oh, i use the trucky to vac em. mazin results.

Not sure if i could dry vac with hose on the Airflex, certainly more powerfull than my Sebo, i have had this problem before just seems hard to get all the soiling out

another tip is to soak the lip then take the wand off and use the end of the pipe to extract the lip. rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat,

Sometimes the stair nosing can appear dirty but actually because the pile is opened up it is just the dareer backing showing through and also the pile is not dense and reflecting light.

please don't use a Microsplitter on Berber as you will frizz the pile when you go over with your brush.

get some highheat from chemspec and prochem oxibrite make sure temp is over 60 not the best or right way but depends on soil level. You lose feel on the wool because of the PH and heat but no one will ever notice.

or get some prochem shampoo add the oxibrite and fibrebuff. vac hard and depending on size of room hand clean.

i know you been having problem with Berber. this is a great example of approach your finding out that one approach will not solve every job.

You cant hit everything with power you adjust the "sinner circle" to the job at hand.

soil removal is fine on most jobs but treatments are needed on some types. the above works really well on high traffic lanes on light or white carpets. carpets go dull over time and the wear on the pile causes colour shading patching in with method above works great. upholstery cleaning is a great example of this.

The best results on berber without agitation which on these i leave out due to fluffing is with M power and Nemesis which do  not require agitaion, but have tried oxibrite in solution as well never noticed the affect though i read that it may only be noticeable after drying.

I have aslo tried prochem woolsafe stuff, quite good
