Drying Idea For Carpets
« on: July 30, 2010, 08:36:46 pm »
Hi guys

I have a ashbys ninja and the exhust outlet gives off a lot of heat would it be possiable to put a vacum hose onto it and use the warm air to help dry the carpets in conjuction with my air movers

Ps i always use deformer so no risk of foam going everywhere if the tank has too mush foam in it

Any thoughts

You would need a heat exchanger too though as the RH of the exhaust air would be too high , would be too contaminated too.

Agree with Jason, not a viable option at all. The air coming out of the exhaust may feel warm and dry, but it isn't. Even if it was, using a hose would concentrate too much air into one place.
If there isn't enough time to do the job right,  how do we find the time to go back and do it again when the customer is not happy ?   Do it right the 1st Time.
