Hi all

I wonder what proceedures you go throug to minimise the risk of making stains worse after cleaning. IE: urine stains can flare after cleaning or some substances can come back to the surface with cleaning. The upholstery fabric may be fixed to the carcass not allowing for inspection underneath.

Ashby's sell urine stain neutraliser. Does anyone have experience of using this or any other similar product?

For urine stains and odors i have been using a product called simple solution, you can buy it from the big pet stores, and it has worked well for me,
or Prochem urine neutralizer works well

Urine nuetraliser is just that, it lowers the ph of the stained area to about 7.5 preventing that orange flare up. Do not mistake it for removing the odour created by urine, for this use a proprietry odour nutraliser-- eg pro-chem odour nuetraliser as a pre-spray. Leave to work and then flush out.  Treat the stained area when there is no residual urine odour, with the urine nuetraliser.

Is Urine nuetraliser a product that can be used repeatedly over long periods. Because it seems my cat has a favorite spot to leave stains and I need to deal with it repeatedly. I would also like to set up a cleaning schedule with a carpet cleaning company. Do most companies give a discount if I were to have my carpets cleaned every 6 months?
