Which Titan did he look at, was it the 575 r the 875?  Glynn has a 575 & Simon has the 875, both have raved about the heat saying that is top notch and that the performance is matched by the superior heat.

I believe it was the 875 but it was a good few months ago so not 100%, Dont get me wrong, He was very impressed with the build quality, serviceability and of course the customer service but just not as much of an upgrade as he was hoping for

Hi Glynn, I can only relay what I was told , I dont know the full situation so maybe it wasnt run long enough or something but we were expecting big things from it and it didnt produce, Still believe its a very impressive bit of kit tho

Heat isn't everything, you know. I can't see you having had a demo of the Titan 875 as they are order only and the 575 with its new, advanced heat system  is hotter than the 875. But there is also the issue of building quality and most importantly of all service and technical backup. It's all very well importing a machine but will you be able to get the parts and service back up that you will need when things go wrong.

Hi Simon, Ill have to speak with the old man about which one it was but it was demo'd as he spent a whole day at Hydramasters on a trip to see family in Devon.

Reguarding the parts and service items for the Powerclean, Ashbys are the dealers and have the service items, We also have spoken to the guys in America so are happy with the after care and I carry out all the mechanical work myself.

We all know heat is not everything......but I wouldnt be without it

Why did you decide to get such a big machine? £24k is a lot. I'd be interested in any pictures you have as yours seems to be similar specification wise to the Titan 875.

Hi Simon,

24k???................If I told you the price we paid for the unit you would understand why we went for it , We wanted a machine that would work for us, We take on alot of commercial work and also do alot of Tile & Grout cleaning, Our previous set-up was good but it was time to move on and upgrade, So far we are very pleased.

Ive also spoke to the old man about the Titan, It was the 875 that he demo'ed, It was a customers unit (maybe yours?) that John bought in for him to test, Like I said he just wasnt impressed enough to buy one

The specs of the units are very similar so once Ive got some pics ill get them up and it will be great to compare and chat about the differences


Glynn, Thats real nice heat you have their esspecially when twin wanding, Do you twin wand often? as we find we only tend to do it on the really big jobs. Does you PC Ti wand leak? We had to stick in the check valves on each jet as the dripping got really annoying

Hi Geoff, No worries, Off topic is always fun , Our web-site is in the process of being re-designed so please bare with us :

The chemicals are actually are own design manufactured for us, We were fed up of all the products on the market not producing the results we wanted so we approched a chemical maufactures to come up with our own products

At the moment we offer a Pre-Spray, Firbre Rinse, a Spot Remover and have now developed a Hard Floor Cleanser, We supply to afew of the local carpet cleaners and have had good feedback so far, If your are interested in trying some of the products please fire us an email as I dont want to step on anyones toes promoting our products on this site without permission

Hi Simon, The £24,000 is about what it works out now I believe, But 12k If only , Once we've played with it more ill be able to give you a better idea of its performance Our machines must be very similar indeed, Just checking out your specs again and all seems pretty much idtentical with ours pulling abit more vacuum, Other than that very evenly matched

Have you ever tried triple wanding?, That must be confusing as hell, Its bad enough when dual wanding with all the hoses going in

We triple with the Titan quite a lot, indeed that is why we bought the Titan. We triple RX'd 1,650 sq yds in a restaurant on Queen Mary 2 the other day in just under four and a half hours, using about 850 feet of line. Simples!!!
