Has anyone had a problem with hydramaster knockout, had a customer reporting pink marks where its been used??

Knockout is a bleaching agent, I believe hydrogen peroxide with ammonia booster and must be treated with extreme care!

If you flushed  off F&F that can accelerate the bleaching action.

Long shot.....but try half a teaspoon of Bicarb in a 500ml sprayer

There has been a problem with Knock Out lately.
Someone rang me the other day saying it had turned a wine stain orange . I think there is a problem with the newly formulated British version of Knock Out. I have some but have been so disappointed with its performance I've chucked it back on the shelf where it belongs. It's rubbish.

Went back to site to find that where  tea stains had been treated these areas were pink. In any other areas the product had worked as expected- a bit of a halo effect but still a reasonable result. The customer is p****d off as the tea stain on the stairs was less offensive!.
The carpets in the house were identical in every room. I have tried to replicate the pink effect on carpet off cuts to see if it was a reaction with other cleaning products but I can not seem to get the same reaction- weird. Think its for the bin though.

I've never used Knockout but don't write it off just yet if it works for you. If you can't recreate the reaction it may not be a product you've used. I'd talk to Hydramaster and check what can cause this to happen, review what you actually did, then approach your customer, it could of been something they used. Unless I'm using a solvent it's always worth cleaning the area first to ensure any other products are rinsed clear so I start from stable base.

Hamilton, this may save your bacon, Did a job today cream poly.....she used washing powder
with a oxygen bleaching agent, causing pink spots and yellow halos and light areas.

Rinsed off with plain water, then browning prescription, didn't do a lot, so used sodium met hot on the
halos, rinsed off hot and great results but still pink area's.

Made up some bi carb (1 level tea spoon to 500ml water) sprayed and pink areas went.

Its not flawless but passable, me and custy were dead chuffed.
