Does anybody have any experience with these? Looking at getting one or two to help with cash flow and big one off jobs. 70% of our customers pay by cheque, 20% by internet banking(which we struggled to up the percentage) and 10% cash. Most work is completed when the customer is not home, and they are never quick to send payment. When we phone to chase the outstanding payment, thought this would be handy to take payment over the phone, and also the ones that don't have cash at the time, and the husband always has the cheque book. :

I am a member of the FSB, and through these we supposedly get better rates.
Anyway, how does this sound?
3 year minimum contract. (Is this normal?)
£70 + VAT one off set up fee.
£26 + VAT per month to use.
Visa & Mastercard 1.95%
Debit and Solo cards 29p per transaction.
Visa debit & Electron cards 30p per transaction.
