I started at 6:15 an cleaned a grotty shop canopy, which went quite well, Then it went down hill, The windows in the sun would not rinse properly, All were left with spots on like they had been in a sand storm, Got 2 phone calls so far to go back and re do these houses.dunno what was the problem,Don't know if my water is contaminated with something, or if its gone funny because its been sat in my tank for 3-4 days

if the tds is ok, and not got algae water should be ok,  could it be you didnt rinse enough

what brush do you use , did you use the same brush as you used on the canopy,

do you rinse brush on , or off, ?

TDS was 001, no did not use same brush or pole. rinse with brush off and with varistream on 9 (full) so should of been sheeting nicely but was terrible, All 4th or 5th cleans, No alage either

its a superlite brush, black one, can't get me head round if its flocked or not, dont know the difference

if you rinse off and the top frame isnt spotless and your using at full speed any water that bounces up will get onto brickwork top frame etc and drip dirty water. when pete says use at high flow he rinses on the glass and that way you dont have this problem, but if you feel you must rinse off keep the brush very close to the glass

if it has shorter brissels round the jets then its flocked    i think

thats a dual trim , but they do a mono and flocked, flocked has black brissels

if it is black it is flocked and has to be cleaned after each use, as the flocked bit keeps dirt in

idealy you need a mono to rinse on

flocked brushes arent ideal for rinsing on, but are the bristles soft at the end, thats flocked if they are stiff then your fine

only other brush i got is a vikan brush, No idea what sort that is, thought it was heavy so only use it for con roofs and this shop canopy etc.

where they first cleans,  as i bought a flocked dual trim the other day and got told they where no good on first cleans

no done some 3- 4 times and some 5, they been fine before. Knew as i was doing them they were not right, even tradded downstairs as it was that bad,Trouble is some were 3 storey so peoples living rooms and kitchens were on first floor so they could see the mess

chopsie i recently had a load of windows come up spotty that i had cleaned without problems for two years, i watched my worker and instantly seen the problem he was holding the brush to far out and water was getting everywhere. i corrected his method and now all is good again, it may not have been a problem before for you as you recently turned the flow up

Think your right stu-mac,It did seem to be almost pressure washing the windows, emptied my water butt and Ibc out, will try on my windows tomorrow as i got kids all day.
