im leaving the kids and misses here and have a benefit claim up for them back home
i think ill register on the dole see what i can get as well  must be worth a few goats
may as well get some dental work done and a new set of bins for my eyes out of their health service
i hear there a cow up for grabs and a free flight home in a few months when i want to see the misses and kids

i come back next month register under another name and start again

What it all comes down to is this, immigrants and people on benefits are much more likely to vote labour. Thats why New Labour turned a blind eye all those years and allowed the immigrants to vote. :

We are all working men, Labour should be our party and supporting us and our jobs and families. But they were not. Instead of being the party for the working man Labour has become the party for the NON working man.

Virtually all the labour safe seats are in high immigrant areas or Scotland and Wales.

Looking at job centre vacancies on the net, under most vacancies it said "we are particularly interested in employing workers from other european countries" i would have thought a statement of this nature could be deemed as racist

e newlands, if what you say is true? It is ironic that you resent quite vocally what you were. An economic refugee. Priceless. 
Is a tad hypocritical as well, when you were provided for by another country because of how things were here.
But at least you have lived in similar shoes, so what you think on this has more weight than others who put up 'us first' posts.
I ain't a liberal, but i can't be part of this us and them mentality. Unless its government or apparatus of the state. I like the idea of plenty of foreigners being here. And they don't have anywhere near the advantages of us who were born and bred here.
I know its a generalisation, but people who see foreigners legally allowed here as a threat i generally write off as victims of this world. There is blame that has to be attached to others for all woes they have suffered. Or heard about 3rd hand down the pub.

I can't be arsed to get into a debate about it but I have no real problem with immigration.  It would probably be a good idea to slow it down until unemployment drops again though.
I do realise that being against immigration isn't necessarily an indicator of racism.  However, I do reckon some people try to use it as a mask for their racism as it can be a way of promoting racism while appearing to be a reasonable person.

Anytime, I need about 15 extra people for June, July and August and before you say anything I don’t pay them minimum wage or below, plus when I say my company is ethical I don’t mean that I employ illegal immigrants for minimum wage, it means I employ anyone who is capable of doing the job correctly, be a great representative of my company and someone who I can rely on at all times. Whether they British, Asian, Eastern European etc etc. In return I pay them a good, respectable wage, so they can live a good life not a life of poverty.

I guess you are referring to my post, yes I am the liberal type, I believe in people’s equality, especially those who try hard to make a living. I DO NOT EXPLOIT ANYONE AND NEVER WILL.

Do you have a slightest idea of what it takes for someone to move to other country to find a better life? Do you know what difficulties those people face every step of the way? No you obviously don’t! All I can say “You can't educate pork”!

Whichever way you present it, you were an economic refugee. You went for the cash. Nothing wrong with that though. It is ironic that it was ok for you but not for others coming here doing the same.
I think you are barking up the wrong tree though. Its the government who wants them (just the same as you were wanted) and its them who are responsible for it.
I've never lost a job to a foreigner doing it cheaper either.
Instead of the woe is us posts, use the situation to our advantage. Domestic custoemrs would take some convincing, but throw them on commercial work. Pay them peanuts for doing what could well be your cream work.
Everyone wins.

All I have to say to this topic is that , you should be proud to be British in a positive way and that is that so many people come from all over the globe to this country to contribute to this country, and to make this country better and more stronger  and that your people (BRITISH) accept them to come and every one can learn from each other from different culture and back ground.

I'm neither proud nor ashamed to be British.  In fact it seems to be an irrelevance to me.  It's just a bit of dirt that sticks up above the water on a planet just like all the other bits of dirt that stick up.  I'm more interested in trying to live my life with mutual respect to and from all parties.
