Customer service!
« on: May 06, 2010, 02:25:52 pm »
I placed an order through Alltec back in early March for 200 spotter bottles i paid for them and they were waiting for me to approve the labels, but i changed my mind due to the poor feedback i got on the forums about the product i cancelled the order and decided to use the credit i had with them to order various stuff including a stainless steel pump up sprayer for applying protector, all the stuff minus the sprayer arrived and i was told it was on order that was two months ago and many phonecalls since which i have yet to recieve a reply , i suppose they have my money and thats why they have no interest in me, up till now i have always found the service at Alltec ok apart from being charged three times for one order!
although i still get bombarded with emails from them for the marketing, telling me i can make thousands well i could make more money if i had this equipment.
I have phoned them today and told them i want my account credited so i can order from someone else i got hinking about where i should go its a short list of two because  the other stack up like this.

1. cant stand the customer service and they rip you off

2. I make an enquiry about prices for rotary machine and equipment 3 months and still waiting for phonecall !

So its between John and Nick who have always been very good and that post by Andrew Briscoe on CCDO, that is good service :)

Funny that Jim ......

I have narrowed it down to the same 2 as well.  Neither have let me down - spot on service. Just what we want.
Although Cleansmart have been good too.

Hi Guys

Jim, you have Solo Sprayers down Progress Road, turn right last turning before the Eastwood Road Rayleigh lights.

Very good for sprayers and cheap too.

Cheers

I got my spray bottles from Alltec last Friday after waiting a long time and chasing them also but they are very professional looking, I have todate given away 22 and sold 6 at £10 each, I know what you mean about taking their time and not contacting you they do need to get their customer service sorted out because they are a fantastic company to deal with IMO. Perhaps Jason (Moderator) could post something on the Alltec forum as I can't get on (registered ok but won't let me on)

Don't attempt to get on that forum, it has a virus.

The way I look at it is that if I can get the £260 back which is 26 sprays I can give the rest away to old and new customers and order some more and if they take time to come then I will be well infront as they take ages to come.

I heard at Altec the bald one  (Richard?) has left, perhaps thats why there is a slow down in orders being processed.

A lot of the courses seem to be under subscribed.

Not sure who richard is? is he the one on the front desk who doesn't smile alot?

They do a lot of courses it must be hard to fill them all of the time and Alltec have always had this problem but I think as cleaners don't have much work they can't afford to go on courses or at least can't afford the time off.

Could "Richard" be Tony by any chance? Hadn't heard of him leaving. Re: Alltec spotter, I give it away free but price it into the job........if you see what I mean. Also have lots of customers asking for more when they run out so it mustn't be that bad.
