Sad day today, snapped my no2 section in half, lifted the pole up with 4 sections on from the ground and CRACK down it came whilst i was lifting, i was surprisngly patient about it. Is it repairable?

think u need to get a new section, i think gardiners will sell the one u need

I'm pretty sure it'll be repairable.  Squeaks has patched his up on numerous occasions.  Hopefully someone will be along with an answer soon.  A photo may help with diagnosis and treatment, if you can.

I dont really want to spend £120 odd on a section when the pole cost me enough. Im sure someone sleeved one in past?

yep, easy to repair.....................

1.Get a hacksaw and cut off the two broken ends so both bits are nice and clean and not splintery
2. Then feed the male end (top end) through the female end (of the bottom section) and pull it as tight as you can so it is wedged in.
3. tape join up with Duck tape.

Hope that is clear. Its hard to describe what I mean by point 2  : but let me know if you get stuck.

I have repaired 3 sections and they work fine and never had a problem again although the repaired sections are a bit shorter now!

It should be repairable IMO.  I snapped a section clean in half fairly recently (I trod on it - oops!!).  I got it repaired for £35 by this company:-

They are based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent but there are others dotted around the country.  Many of them have a collect/deliver service using local fishing tackle shops as agents.
I chose a shop within driving distance from me as I needed the section back in time to do a job and didn't want to wait.  It was £35 for a repair or maybe £90 for a new section.  The repair looks and feels very good too.

Looks in pretty good shape especially for 2 years, why did it snap?  Had it been trod on and weakened.

The supalite is my baby, well look after it and use it daily. But i got it stuck the day before when i put it in van, cant really explain and i had a bit of a rage on it lol and rammed it in, i think i must of cracked it.
