In my opinion, anyone who still collects their money should really have a hard look at how they run their business and how to get their business from stone age to the 21st century.

It is so unnecessary, think about it.

A friend of mine works in the credit control dept of a large company an he is payed to delay the payment of invoices, because the company makes interest on the money they don't pay on time.

What you need to do is make the company pay more than they will earn from the interest they would get.

If you don't want to lose the contract then thats up to you but I have always taken court action and if nessasary bailiffs with instructions to take the chairman's desk and chair.

I also increase the price of the job if I have to chase payments.

I have not lost a contract yet.

No Tim, I go collecting because it's a chance for me to lose a few pounds. I grab my wooden pointer and zink bucket, then put my flat cap on tightly and peddle around my rounds to keep fit. Every time a custy pays, I doff my cap and thank them.

We aren't all so advanced as you mate, try to put up with our old fashioned methods. ;D
I haven't got a computer or online banking, so I have no choice really. Wake up mate, some of us actually know their custies and even talk to them.
