I don't use them, if they can't see a bright yellow hose then really should try specsave
I think to cover yourself as much as possible you should use a warning sign if you're hose crosses a public footpath, I know if it's just a quick job then away the teptation will be not to bother, but if someone was to trip over your hose then you could be in all kinds of problems. Cover yourself, you don't need the hassle of someone trying to make a claim.
