Iveson you have got a talent, but and this isn't meant as a critisism, shouldn't the "window cleaning" part be the key part in the logo ? If you were to put them on a van for example they will see a lovely profesional looking logo but not nesesaraly pick out what service they provide unless there very close up to the van.

The reason I'm asking is I had a discusion with a mate of mine who does landscape gardening and othe gardening services and I was asking him where he got his van signwritting as it's big and bold lettering that's been used. He said he got someone he knew to do it cheap as all he wanted was his name, contact details and most importantly the service that he offers. His brother on the other hand who is a gas fitter and engineer has a very profesional looking sign written van with his name ect, but the service that he offers doesn't stand out as much. 

In my case "Murdie Window Cleaning" it says exactly what I'm offering and a nice clear but profesional looking logo is what I'm looking for.

to be honest because they are freebies so i dont spend much time on them im thinking about doing some designs and uploading them to fotolia just to test the water.

To make a 'get what you're given' logo takes about ten minutes. Its no more crazy than giving out free advice, which is basically what this forum is all about. IMO.

Look i like graphic design i have the software and a vinyl cutting machine to make car/van signs ect

but as for freelance design i would not know where to get work plus i have'nt been to college to study  design,

also i don't think that my work is at a good enough standard to charge loads of money for a logo i would say my logos to me are worth £35-£50 but pratices make prefect
