week of canvassing
« on: April 12, 2010, 04:00:01 pm »
This is my "quiet week" with just a couple of mornings work so im going to be doing a lot of canvassing this week.

I started out today, Here is how i got on

2x £10 jobs, next door to each other. These two already had a window cleaner, but werent happy with him. I put in a HIGHER price than the current cleaner. and i got the jobs ;D

1x £8 job. But will be £15 when she wants the back windows done

Priced up a cottage at £15 which i will call back on next time im in the area.

and also priced up a house for £18, also to call back on.

So in total i gained

£28 regular window cleans
£33 to "knock back" on
£90 gutter/fascia clean (which may be booked in every year)

not bad for a quick couple of hours ;D

Yep it's good when you get a few new customers for a few hours work, I've been out today and done a few streets that I hadn't got to yet and gained a few new custies and put in a price for a gutter clear.

But I think this up coming election has made people wary of opening the door as they think there going to be pounced upon by politions and there minions.
