wfp & trad working side by side
« on: April 08, 2010, 07:56:38 pm »
this was really funny this morning, i went to the back of the customers tenement block to clean her 6 large windows, and there was this old man around late 60s, i says hi and he said it back, i dont think the guy knew what i had was for, until he seen me start cleaning the windows, now he must have been there a few mins at least, the first thing i noticed was 4 poles standing against the wall, squeegee, mop, deatiling cone, and a flat mop, the time he was taking on each window, must be at least 20mins the way he was going about it, anyway i was done and dusted 5 mins flat if that  ;D i saw his face as if to say, what the heck,   its obvious hes never seen this type of w/c before, and must be thinking thats a real cowboy leaving the glass wet lol, , i felt sorry for him going to all that trouble, you could see he was professional at what he did, i suppose even if i did try to tell him about wfp, he would reject it, anyway i packed my gear in the car, and he was just getting to the second window, i bet my glass was dry by the time he was on his last window,  ;D

paul this is not against trad, i am sure if when i reach that age and still w/c and i see something even better than wfp i would ask about it, i want my working life to be easy, i mean i thought i carried to much gear a backpack and pole, i suppose some folk will always be stuck in there ways,
