I dont, I just wash them from above. I then give the windows a very good rinse.

lots will say no as they will drip crap all over your clean glass, but i flush em out on first cleans, leave em for a bit to dry then go and clean the glass.
On downstairs windows its quicker coz you can wipe em dry with a cloth.
Whats the point in making a great first job on glass and frames only to leave the vents minging?
After first clean dont touch the vents with a barge pole lol

yes sound good as i have had few dripping after i left and i seen them when i went back on next clean always look better when they been flushed out

If you flush them out you will run the risk of water leaking inside the window.

mb is right on this , i did a job when i first started with the pole and the custie ran out saying there was water running down his walls , i get the ladder off on first cleans and do the vents by hand regards alan

Don't get me wrong, I do clean the vents with WFP, but I clean them with the jets pointing slightly downwards so not to splash water up into the vent.

wet scrub the vents, then pencil jet behind from above, after you have cleaned them all, go back over the glass only, i do this just to make sure nothing has run or driped onto the glass,
