how much will we get?
« on: March 31, 2010, 06:52:59 pm »
our new marketing campaign for the year kicks off next week.

we ordered 50,000 full colour A3 folded brochures with complete window cleaning and extras price list inside. with another 30-50k to follow.

our leafleters will deliver 5,000 a week between them.

2-4 of us will also be door knocking 2-3 times a week.

I am hoping to recieve 30-50 new customers a week through to september with 25% of them having at least one additional service with the first clean.

it will be interesting to see what we get, will keep you posted.

Hi Lee,

As long as you maintain the levels that you've outlined and you generally seem pretty focused I see no reason why you won't achieve your targets.

You are doing the sort of thing i would like to do, and i am very jealous.

I've copied a couple of things you've done re a proffesional approach, i don't want to seem like a stalker but i have the same van as you (scudo maxi comfort 1200kg 800litres, 2.4m three stage ladders inside roof, two side door roof mounted electric reels, and three functional varistreams and pumps).

I did a leaflet (not a brochure) and it didn't really work for me. I do have a couple of wrinkles that do work on a much smaller scale than you are suggesting.

The moneys not so important for me, i like the idea of buiding a business, and that probably means branding. I think you are doing this well.

I wouldn't share this kind of info on this forum but i wouldn't mind seeing what you've got. I understand you saying no to that, and inevitably i am going to comment from a branding perpective.

My thoughts so far are that you will have a disappointing response. If this is the case i have a wrinkle (pinched from diymat of all people) that will focus your target market.

What was the cost of each brochure?

Email the stuff to me if you want a proper ear bashing ;D

Good luck.
The door knocking alone will do the trick.
I am sure you will easily reach your targets.
