..........a wet leg from drips from using a bucket on a belt. I found a product Splash Guard on a US site @ S4.75 but they quoted S65.00 shipping which makes what is really a piece of plastic rather expensive Anyone know of this or something else similar for sale in UK, or will I have to resort to making it myself.

   I`ve heard of people making similar things on this forum.
  I think someone used a piece of lino on a BOAB and I recall someone using a pouch as a guard. He cut a section out of the top of the pouch,where the belt goes through. Threaded the belt through one end of the pouch, through the BOAB and out of the other end of the pouch. If that makes sense  . 
      So the BOAB sits over a pouch.

never soak mop and put in holster.soak window first then use holster.just use it wen u need ur hands free.

the original unger bucket has a higher plastic bit at one side its the only one i can wear without getting a wet leg

How about a stetson awell

cut legs off water proof trousers to wear your getting wet, job done

Why not simply wear, waterproof, windproof, breathable trousers instead. That way you can work all day long in the rain and not have to worry about drips running from BOABelt.

 I find wet leg less of a problem when I use a smaller T-bar.
  Not ideal for most though.

yes unger classic.still not perfect though.can say that about a lot of products.do any manufacturers consult proper cleaners.some of these probs aesy to solve. :

Thanks for varied replies. I've gone some way to prevent wet leg by just tucking a piece of thinnish polythene under belt and securing with velcro tabs, a cheap  but effective remedy, so far. Much more comfortable to go home without that damp feeling.
The reason for the drips is that I use a backflip which doesn't fit as snugly in a boab as separate applicator and squegee.
