Professional websites

Once again Mark at DP Print & Design has come up trumps with his web design. He has put together our new website, which we are really pleased with and is topping the google ranks within a week. I would recommend him to any cleaners who want a good website without breaking the bank.

Ask the gent who created the website for you to secure the administrator login page for you.

Currently it is accessible to everyone, and your favicon gives away what cms you are using straight away. The reasons for the extra security is that as Joomla is widely used it will be more targeted for code injection and tampering to trya nd hack into it.

Regards,

Tom.

Why would anyone want to waste their time hacking into a cleaning website, we are not NASA, their is no way of making financial gain and all the passwords are 32 bit incripted anyway and there is no reference in the header code to it been a joomla site and will change favicon any way.
This post is to let people know that there is a web designer out there who will put a site together for cleaners without ripping them off. That is rare these days and cleaners without sites or who wish to bui;d a new one or improve and old one should take advantage.

Phil,

I was merely suggesting something. Please dont take it the wrong way or please do not try and make me feel worse for suggesting something.

With regards to being hacked, script kiddies don't do it for financial gain, and even then it would be larger sites to offset the risk of doing it and getting caught. Being able to deface someones websites and boast about it is to gain merit from others roaming in the same circles.

Anyway, nice looking site and good luck with it. With regards to my suggestions, it is as has always been, your choice on whether to take them or leave them.

Regards,

Tom.

You beat me to it Mark,
Just tried the link, and only getting a blank screen  :(
If there isn't enough time to do the job right,  how do we find the time to go back and do it again when the customer is not happy ?   Do it right the 1st Time.

Sorry to say the link leads to a page full of links, none of them appear to be yours.

Not the best advertisement really.

Get onto you man and get him to sort it ASAP for you.

Best of luck!
