because I vastly under estimated what it takes to clean windows !

Its not as easy as it looks !!!  :o

I mistakenly assumed it was.

Did my first 3 cleans today.

Started 10.30 and finished @ 4.30 ... knackered !!

Am I thinking of packing in .... not a chance I loved it ..

Im aching ... ive used muscles I never knew I had.

I know I will get faster as all the minging frames now mint.

oh and the best part of today ..... my very first customer has asked me to give her mum a quote on another part of the same estate ... and they all paid today as well.  :)

Just wait intil you go round next time  ;D 8)
if you had a bit of experience you may not have needed to do them 3 times  8)
Will take you between 6 months and 2 years to build a proper round. Good luck ! but its frotunately nowt to do with luck.

I got some jobs, spent £300 on trad kit, and shared my first days money with someone who knew how to do it.

We worked quite hard for about three hours and got £23 each.

Two months later i was flying and often earned £70 a day.I often thought of giving up and i still think it's a tough way to earn a living.

I started up this time last year and I thought exactly the same thing-nice easy work.My first customer was a ten pounder and I was pretty much all morning do it!I remember thinking that maybe I'd done a wrong move but I'm delighted I stuck with it and I'm sure you will be a year down the line looking back.Pretty much every time you do a customers house you will find a way to improve your speed and be more efficient.

I remember the first house I did 7 years ago, took about an hour and a half, all for £10 I think it was, but I had friends who are windys so I knew it would improve. I went WFP a few months later.

By the time I sold that work on 2 years later I was doing that house in 10-15 mins with the wfp.
Though when I clean using trad I still get that smell from the fairy liquid and it makes me feel all nostalgic. Makes me remember going home after a long day and pulling all the scrunched up cash out of my pocket onto the table and thinking 'I wish I had done this years ago'  ;D

Keep on, it gets easier

if you ever do go wfp contact richywilts on here, he is over your way and he may give you some pointers. trad is a very important thing to master though and is a great tool to have.

trad is an art

wfp is a skill
