One of nature's immutable laws
« on: March 28, 2010, 09:03:01 pm »
It seems to be one of nature's immutable laws: as soon as you stick your head above the parapet, some pillocks take pot shots.

There are three possible strategies.

1 - Keep your head down.

2 - Keep popping up, but make sure that you're hard enough so their pot shots just bounce off you.

3 - Display exaggerated emotional behavior calculated for effect.

Personally, I recommend #2.

Ah! but as Tosh knows through experience, the reason for the "potshot" is to detect your position!
therefore giving yourself away, you then become an easy target! :)

I haven't seen anyone picking on anyone.

I'm just puzzled by the spate of self analysing and incestous drivel being posted.

If you can explain wally please do so.

Slumps,

Some people were having low-level digs at clee (what's his name) about his working hours, though people didn't really understand that clee (what's his name) was employed and was trying to build a round up at the same time.

Clee got a 'bag on', and other 'bag ons' followed; lots of threatening to delete accounts and this forum isn't what it was (but it's always been like this), etc.

There wasn't much to it really.

Wally was just giving some good advice to those getting the 'bag ons'.
