How about trying distilled meths, works great on sillicone.

Ask them for a cold one at your local store, lol. ;D

Swab the window first. Use whatever cloth you wipe the sills with to wet the window then use applicator and squeegee off, should work ok, if not rub harder with swab.

sugar soap, applicate all glass leave to soak for a minute then re-aplicate and blade each window in turn

used to be a decorator for years and found that sugar soap cleans pretty much everything off anything,
have decorated more than a few catering kitchens etc and used sugar soap to clean everything and never found it lacking.
have found that it works better if you mix it with warm water, and its cheap as chips ;D
Thanks,

GG4 was great for tobacco stains in pubs before the smoking ban too.
GG4/GG3 is cheaper than Fairy too, as you use less.
I use 20ml GG4 and 5ml Sorbo Glide in 7litres of water.

i normally put about 2.5 litres to 3 litres of water in my bucket and change about twice a day with trad.
so is it best to just thru a bit of gg4 in the water or do you measure it?

I measure it mate, I have 2 (mixer bottles) that measure in 5ml.
I have one for sorbo and one for GG4, if you use 3 litres then just use 10ml GG4 and 2-3ml Sorbo.

Matt

PS using GG4 you won't get the suds like fairy.

do i have to use sorbo?

so using gg4 is like just using water as it doesnt make soap suds?

that will feel weird after being used to suds? does it dry quick on the glass before blading?

The window stays wetter for longer with GG4.
I use the sorbo for extra glide, as using GG4/GG3 on its one as very hard to use to because the lack of slip.
