Vacuum Cleaner

Hi guys

Looking for a new Vacuum cleaner for the commercial side. The Royal looks a bit of a beast, would this be a good starting point?

The royal is a fantastic vac but the only trouble is that it does get up to the edges.

Shaun do you mean it does NOT get up to the edges ? The Karcher i'm using just now does not cut it with large dirty school rooms.

It gets so far but there's no pipe to detatch easily to pick up the bits, I'm sure Pete Sweeney has a number of teh guy who sells them direct.

Thanks Shaun. I see you can buy second hand Kirby vacuumes on e-bay. Not sure how well these work but are they not the ones they used to sell door to door in the states back in the 50-60s.

Thanks the Sebo look simular to the Karcher twin I'm using which is fine for domestic but not fantastic for low profile commercial. Maybe I'm just being too fussy, the royal just looks like it may have that extra power with the large bag.

They have been updated since then. They are a good vac but bloody heavy and can be fiddly. Preety much bullet proof though and new cost a fortune.

I bought a Krby for £110, it must be about 12 years old and still good.
Its got the powerdrive which literally makes it as light as a feather to operate.
Trouble being, its a fiddle getting a hose on to it.
