put an ad in your local rag for a s/e door canvasser , your looking for someone who has sold for the energy companies before and is comfortable knocking doors , pay them the value of the first clean after you have cleaned them , maybe a bit of money for petrol on top , i t may take more than 1 advert to find the right person , its worked for me in the past , i currently have 1 thats worked for me for over a year , my daughter and ex wife have also started to canvass for me in the last couple of weeks and have brought in over £500 of new work , my daughter is moving to london soon and is thinking of offering this service to any windies in the home counties, i will post on here if she goes ahead regards alan

I Have two people out working together for me. I basically took them out with me for a couple of days, let them see how i went about it all, showed a lot of confidence and explained its all about getting through the No's to get to the Yes's. Once they had got the hang of it and learned how to price them up properly and they had seen how much money I made doing it i sent them on their way. I buy them a weekly travel anywhere in the area bus ticket, I gave them smart embroidered jumpers, company leaflets and business cards to give to new customers. They are doing extremely well.

I do make a point of looking after them well, I take them out for a few beers at the end of the week, give them a sub now and then, buy them lunch and of course i pay them on time. When i speak they listen and thats the way i like it. I have said if they get enough work in I will take them on cleaning later on in time. I also make a point of paying them a bonus if they hit certain targets. So if a target is 50, 100 and 150 and they go past all three, i give them three bonuses.

I feel these guys I have working for me are precious, I had to go through a few lazy buggers, arses, gobpoopes, and muppets to get there, but we did in the end!
