sounds like you have a small nick out of the blade (they are sometimes hard to see) make sure you dont use your blade to clear the sills as this is the easiest way to wreck a blade
Thanks,

Should try another rubber anyway ive had a few rubbers that have looked ok but been knackered or flip it over to the other side and give it a shot.

It's when you suck up to another poster. We have lots of terms you have to learn, a window cleaners month, a bit like a bakers dozen only the other way, is three weeks for instance.

You'll soon learn the lingo.

I am getting lines on the glass when cleaning windows, but I can't work out why. I have tried and it's ok when I do, to wipe afterwards with a scrim. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? I have checked my rubber (its Unger) and it seems ok.
the channel that is holding the rubber maybe a little bent/dented and could cause this problem.
If your not willing to learn, No one can help you, If you are determined to learn, No one can stop you ;)
