Hey,
I need some advice with starting up a new w/c business. My brother and I are looking to set up a business but are unsure of some things.

1. Would be starting traditional then eventually moving onto WFP, we would be working with a ford escort 5 door car so would we need certain vehicle insurance policies?

2. What kind of liability insurance would we need as it will be only the two of us.

3. Obviously we would need a roof rack for the ladder, but would ladder clamps be essential, Or are other methods acceptable??

Any help would be greatly appreciated

1. make sure the car is insured for business use

2. Public Liability. Unless you employ someone, then you need employers liability

3. Bungee cords  and a good heavy chain & padlock for security

Thanks for the reply, is the business car insurance alot more than normal insurance?

mine was on social domestic pleasure. and when i changed it, it cost me an extra fiver a month.

But if your caught working out your car with only s,d,&p insurance. You can be done for NO INSURANCE....... as i nearly found out.

the car business insurance isnt much over what regular insurance is.  get it before you go ,if you start quickly you should catch the spring rush
