I would like everyone's opinion if you have one on this firm: i received a sms text saying can i do with more work, you pay us £16 per month and we'll supply you with unlimited amounts of work ? Has anyone else been approached, does anyone else have anything to share on this matter, myself i've looked into it and what they had'nt informed me was, there is a £29.99 +vat yearly contract, and the £16 is +vat also, and how can someone claim there is unlimited supply of work to be given, and when you type up www.reco-mend.co.uk it does'nt come up immediately. Your thoughts and opinions welcome guys, and by the way they are approaching not just the cleaning trade, but every trade so be a pal and tell all your friends about this.

They can't guarantee 'unlimited' amounts of work.  I'd never heard of them and they haven't been in touch with me yet.  I'd be inclined to see if they offer a free trial period as you'd want to see some evidence of the amount of enquiries they could put your way.

Free trials is all i ask for when anyone calls or e-mails these days. There are too many spoof web-sites out there, and there all claiming the same thing.

Rubbish, just like all of them. They just want your hard earned.

I get so fed up with these types of calls, it goes:

"Hello sir, Im from... and just want to know if you would be interested in more work in the...area? Basically we have 'so many housands' of hits for 'carpet cleaning...blah blah blah.

Its a leading question forcing you to answer - a sly tactic to get in a conversation with you. I get rid of them in 3 secs, not only cos its annoying but its probably on my freephone ::)

My favourite response is 'I have more work on than I can handle, why would I pay someone to get jobs in?!' I say this even if I'm quiet! These guys have about as much integrity as an MP's expenses receipt!

I have to ask, has anybody ever received any work at all from one of these fine respectable companies? I'm guessing not. I think you've got more chance of HRM picking up the dog and bone to require your services than these old mother duckers!

No, not had any work from such things when I have been daft enough to fall for it.

Have had a call from HRM to clean carpets........ you do mean the mother-in-law  ;D
