Anyone know about email?
« on: February 28, 2010, 07:34:17 pm »
My emails potty, none of it is saved, every time i look it holds about five emails. For some reason they are being deleted- can anyone tell me why this is?

Both of my accounts are hotmail, one in my name one in the biz. There is also something called windows live that i don't really understand.

I have a premium account that costs me £60 per year so this shouldn't happen.

Ideas anyone?

I've never paid for e-mails.  I used to use Outlook Express, and on my new computer I have Microsoft Office Outlook.

Had a few teething troubles when I got the new computer, but all sorted now.

I used to use outlook but it only took paid for accounts (i have bt and other accounts that i don't use). There are/were benefits with premium such as unlimited memory, massive in box, sending pics inside mail etc.

I have five computers the huge imac, and a work book pro- these catch all the emails paid or not without me having to do anything.

I use a little acer for wcp, work and printing (it won't run on apple) and bank reconcilliation.

The other thing about the apples is that you don't need disc drivers, you plug them into a printer and the work.

But still got the email problem.May have to do with windows live.

Why don`t you try Windows Live Mail?

It`s just like Outlook Express, but a lot more modern, it is free & a lot easier to set up!
Just type in your email & password, & it sets it up for you.
