I'd go for the most expensive one if I were you. It's supposed to be really good.

Vikan? Aren't they those red ones?
I had a look at a few, and besides being expensive, they weighed about 4 tons! Wouldn't bother.

Vikan are the best brushes on the market by a distance   I know as Ive used most of them and Vikan is in a league of its own when it comes to quality brushes.

From experience I would say that it can depend a lot on what you're used to. You get used to using something a certain way especially when you use it every day.  Once I've got used to something I'm very reluctant to change because I need confidence that the tool is doing a good job.

I used Vikan for a while - good soft full bristles, not much good at shifting hardened bird muck, and because the brush holds a lot of water which can be a good thing but you need to often rinse away from the glass.

I used Ionics for a long time - wouldn't use anything else once I got used to it.  Good flow of water monofilament brush, but a bit like a wet scrim after a while - soggy and floppy and loses it's shape.

Has to be the Superlite for me - by a mile!  Light, scrubs muck, doesn't retain dirt, rinse on the glass 90% of the time, keeps it's shape, ideal.

I have the superlite mono dual trim on 2 of my poles and vikans the other poles.
vikan are very hard wearing but are very heavy when you need to use your pole above 20ft.
Superlites aren't as hard weary but are extremely light.

i got a superlite and a vikan sill brush,  i have had the vikan longer and used it more than my superlite but my superlite is starting to lose its shape,   but to be honest i would get an other superlite,  i have the white one with the bit in the middle shorter than the out side,   have had no major problems with it

I've the superlite mono fil duel trim and find it the best, good at scrubbing and rinsing what the others are like I can't say.  I've had most Vikans and they are too heavy and don't clean as well.

If you like attaching a brick to the end of your pole. Asking for snappage at a big angle...

I have a superlite  mono single trim and a flagged dual trim. Its the single trim for me flags are to soft and hold dirt. For first cleans I still love a Bentley trimmed down to flagged ends or fused ends as its stiff and can work in tite corners, like no other. Never write this brush off. It might not be image enough for many but, they are still the lightest brush around at 200 grams,

Thanks for replys

I have been using the vikans on the xtel poles and - used the bently brush on my home made harrison pole -

The bently is light but dosnt last long - the vikan is durable but yes you are right its a heavy brush

Going to order a new xtel but wanted to see what the superlites would be like on the end of it.
