From experience I would say that it can depend a lot on what you're used to. You get used to using something a certain way especially when you use it every day. Once I've got used to something I'm very reluctant to change because I need confidence that the tool is doing a good job.
I used Vikan for a while - good soft full bristles, not much good at shifting hardened bird muck, and because the brush holds a lot of water which can be a good thing but you need to often rinse away from the glass.
I used Ionics for a long time - wouldn't use anything else once I got used to it. Good flow of water monofilament brush, but a bit like a wet scrim after a while - soggy and floppy and loses it's shape.
Has to be the Superlite for me - by a mile! Light, scrubs muck, doesn't retain dirt, rinse on the glass 90% of the time, keeps it's shape, ideal.
