I wipe the lower sills after I've finished, the water from washing the windows losens the dirt so a wipe is all I need

Part of our "unique selling point" is we wash frames, sills, doors and cons gutters as standard.

Never had any problems with scratching glass.  We always use a high flow rate so any grit gets flushed away quickly.

I brush the sills, just run your fingers through the brush afterwards whilst the water is on, I find this will rid the brush of any stones etc.
dirt on your brush?
the dirt off the windows goes onto the brush, it doesn't matter if the brush gets dirty as you have to rinse after the scrubbing process.
