I'm trying to address Willis's latest reply on the 'flat roof' thread.  I quote his thread but when I try to highlight the text and reply, all my typing is below the bottom edge of the reply window.

When is this going to be sorted out??

I find it really annoying also so I usually write my reply using word, (so I can check spelling at the same time) and then copy and paste into the reply box

Hi Ian

David's right - I had the same problem until I clicked the compatability mode button right at the top of the screen  (next to the refresh button with two curved arrows).  It allows programs written for older browsers to operate in the later versions.  The button looks like a torn sheet of paper.

Dave and John: I always click the 'compatibility' button before I start to reply, it sometimes does the trick but not always.

It does work, but at the same time is very annoying the forum has not been updated in years and am sure there is a fix for this issue if it was looked into.
